受我校365best唯一官網(wǎng)邀請，英國Plymouth大學(xué)原副校長、工學(xué)院院長、現(xiàn)Int J Fatigue(國際疲勞雜志，SCI-EI源)合作主編、我校顧問教授(2005) Malcolm Neil James教授，將于2019年9月26-29日訪問我校，期間28日為我校師生作學(xué)術(shù)講座。講座題目：

1、Fatigue 1: Concepts and Understanding

疲勞2: 表征和疲勞裂紋擴展率的相關(guān)性

3、Fatigue 3: Similitude, shielding and the effective driving force

       Malcolm Neil James簡介: 英國Plymouth大學(xué)機械工程學(xué)科教授，主要從事結(jié)構(gòu)完整性研究，研究領(lǐng)域覆蓋疲勞與斷裂、殘余應(yīng)力分析、疲勞壽命預(yù)測、金相分析、焊接結(jié)構(gòu)與失效分析。

      James教授先后擔(dān)任Plymouth大學(xué)副校長、科技委員會副主任、工學(xué)院院長、海洋科技學(xué)院院長等職務(wù)。1976年取得英國Witwatersrand大學(xué)機械工程學(xué)士學(xué)位，1984取得英國劍橋大學(xué)冶金材料學(xué)科博士學(xué)位。2005年被南非Nelson Mandela Metropolitan大學(xué)授予名譽博士學(xué)位，先后被授予英國Sheffield-Hallam大學(xué)、中國365best唯一官網(wǎng)、南非Nelson Mandela Metropolitan大學(xué)和意大利Ferrara大學(xué)榮譽教授/訪問教授。

James教授兼職《International Journal of Fatigue(Elsevier Science)》合作主編, 《Engineering Failure Analysis (Elsevier Science)》、《Frattura ed Integrità Strutturale (the International Journal of the Italian Fracture Group) 》、《The Open Mechanical Engineering Journal (Bentham Science Publishers) 》、《Journal of Engineering Research (Kuwait university) and Forensic Engineering (Institution of Civil Engineers, London) 》編委。

先后發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文與著作160余篇/部，被邀請在國際學(xué)術(shù)大會做了一系列邀請報告，是英國、美國、南非、荷蘭、新西蘭等國際工程失效事故分析評價的顧問專家。
